Portillos Chopped Salad Review Chicago with Muffin
I love the chopped salad from Portillos hotdogs in Chicago, IL. It is by far one of my favorite things to eat whenever I am hungry. It’s got chicken, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, cheese, pasta, and bacon. Not to mention they have the best house dressing I have ever tasted. I have tried to find their dressing everywhere in stores but it is only sold at the restaurant with the salad. I even tried to find a dressing that was just similar and couldn’t really find anything close enough to satisfy me.
When you order the salad you get a choice of breadstick or muffin and I believe if they don’t ask you the default served is the muffin. The muffin is delicious too! It’s a lemon poppy seed muffin thats warm and fresh right out of the oven.
Even if you don’t like an ingredient in the salad, you can ask to have it without whatever you don’t wan’t in it. I guess the 2 only problems with this salad is 1.) Portillos for the most part is only in the Midwest area; I believe there’s a couple in California, and 2.) It’s going to cost you about $8.00 for each salad.
I think it’s definitely worth it because it’s delicious and Portillos is a great food chain and I rarely wait over 5 minutes in their always busy drive-thru.
Do yourself a favor and go buy yourself a chopped salad from Portillos then comment on here and tell me what you think.
