I am Left Handed and I am very glad that I am indeed Left Handed. It has it’s perks but it also makes life a bit more difficult to live. Being Left Handed means being different than a majority of the world. Try that one on for size…different than a majority of the WORLD. Since I’m Left Handed I feel like being left handed equals power.
Important People That Are Left Handed
-If you look at people who are famous you will notice a lot more left handed celebs then you would think there would be. Also, multiple presidents have been left handed for the United States over the past 100 years. I am going to bullet point some of the left handed celebrities or people of power that are known world wide.
- Ronald Reagan
- Bill Clinton
- Barack Obama
- Julius Caesar
- Jay Leno
- Kurt Cobain
- Phil Collins
- Paul McCartney
- Oprah Winfrey
- Bruce Jenner
The list just goes on and on. Our current president, famous musicians, TV personalities; it can’t just be a coincidence right? I think there is more to it than just being different than righties. I think us lefties have the upper hand because our brains work differently.
–Do our brains really work differently though? You tell me. I am left handed and I believe 100% that I think differently then anybody that I have ever met in my lifetime. If I was right handed, would I have this blog right now? Probably Not. In my opinion, I believe people who are right handed are more for structure. As in ok go to college, get a degree, work a 9-5 job and retire and travel; Which is a good way to live if that is for you.
–I however, want the better things in life. I want financial freedom and to be able to do whatever the hell I want to do at any point in time. I am currently working to get there as you read this. I’m hoping all these side business ventures will pay off in a couple of years. I am already seeing massive success with my multiple projects.
-Now I am left handed, but I do have an normal job on top of all the projects I do. Do I love my job? I could honestly say Yes to that. Is it always perfect? No, but what job is? Speaking of things not being perfect, let’s discuss some aggravating traits that come along with being left handed.
Being Left Handed: The Negative/Aggravating Parts
-How the hell are we suppose to write in a spiral notebook? I had the hardest time growing up through school trying to write in one of those damn things. Picture this righties, our left hand has to sit on the spiral part and it basically screws up any nice handwriting that could take place. Also, if you are left handed you have certainly experienced this at some point. Ink on the side of your hand because everything you write smudges right after you write it! God forbid I have to write with a dry erase board! Every time I write with a dry erase board I pretty much erase everything while I am writing it. I have to hold the marker a weird way just to write on there and it takes forever.
-Now I don’t have this problem because I can do plenty of functions with my right hand also, but I can only imagine you Left Handed dominate people who can’t even manage the right side. How are we suppose to ride a stick shift? Every car I buy I have to go with an Automatic. I’m sure you can train yourself to do it, but eh, why bother.
Left Handed Equals Power – Just My Opinion
-I am very thankful I was chosen to become left handed. My brain works in a different way than most, and I don’t know if that has anything to do with being left handed, but I truly believe in it. I like to think of it as a unique club that I belong too. I want to know everyone who is left handed and just pick at their brains. I actually might create a blog for just Left Handed people and it would be fun! If your Left Handed, drop me a comment and let’s discuss our lives.
