Day 32 – Felt Nauseous at the Gym Because of Empty Stomach

Yesterday was Day 32 of my Intermittent Fasting Diet and it started off rough.

The previous day I fasted the entire day, besides a bit of seaweed, and I felt pretty good when I woke up the following day. However, After I burned about 100 calories at the gym I started feeling a weirdness in my stomach and decided to set the resistance a bit lower on my machine and also go a little slower until the nausea feeling declined. That feeling never did decline and it was because I needed some food in my system.

After 200 calories I decided to just leave the gym before I threw up or something embarrassing happened and I went home and ate some tuna. About 5 minutes after eating the Tuna I already felt much better and my stomach wasn’t searching for the much needed food it requires. This is the first time I have had any type of reaction I guess you can call it from my fasting days or the days shortly after.

I take these chewable vitamins but I usually wait until after the gym, and this is the first time I took them before the gym on an empty stomach. I believe they might have contributed to my upset stomach.

Yesterday I had a chopped salad from Portillo’s and then for dinner I had a steak burrito bowl from Chipotle. I plan on eating very similar for day 33, maybe add some sushi into the mix. I will be back to the gym on Monday. As of today I am officially down 18 pounds! Pretty crazy that I am losing over a half a pound per day. I really feel better and I’m starting to look better as well. As always, thank you and I will keep you updated.
