It’s Day 14 already? Wow I am really starting to get involved with this diet for now. Too bad I have the hardest time actually fasting the 5:2 ratio though. However, I have kept the 16 hour fasting to perfection, so at least I can say that.
I went to bed way to late last night and I need to start sleeping more because days suck when your exhausted. That being said, I woke up at 4 in the morning today and it took me a good half hour to stumble out of bed. Once I got out of bed it took me another half hour just to get my gym clothes ready and head out to the gym. I eventually made it to the gym and that is where I had my best workout yet. I did 50 minutes on the elliptical machine, while extremely tired, and I burned over 500 calories. It felt so good to burn that many calories and I can’t wait to do it again tomorrow. Well that’s if this snow storm doesn’t hold me back.
Today for lunch, I ate a chopped salad from Portillo’s and I did not get a pop with it. It’s very hard for me not to drink a nice cold Diet Coke during my Chopped Salad eating because I associate certain meals a certain way. I enjoyed the salad very much and I didn’t eat anything else until I came home. This might sound weird to people not use to this but for a snack when I got home today I snacked on Seaweed.
Yes, dry roasted seaweed from the Asian marketplace I went to this weekend. I can eat this stuff all day and not worry about effecting my diet, it comes in this huge container and has at least 200 strips of seaweed. If I ate the entire container, which I can’t even do, that would be no more than 80 calories. I am not worried and it’s a nice snack to hold me over until tomorrow.
I’m feeling so much better throughout the day but I’m not really noticing any weight loss which is kind of bumming me out. Hopefully by Day 21 I am starting to see some serious weight loss or else I have to figure something out.
